Dunkel

This is the point to which the album builds, full of layers, dynamics, energy and power. “Dunkel” in German means “dark” and the pandemic times in which we were writing this music felt like that – full of fears and question marks. Music was the perfect tool to depict these emotions. But this piece also leads into the last one on the album, to “Spring”, which is a symbolic choice of light and hope.
